Our students are making headlines, and we want to share all the great news with you. We will keep this page updated with important announcements, news stories, and student shout-outs. Please check back often, and help us celebrate our students’ many achievements.
We have numerous coats, shorts, jackets, and shoes in our lost and found in each hall. Please look to see if anything is yours. We will donate all leftover items before Christmas.
There is no school on Friday, December 22 through Friday, January 5 for our winter break. School resumes on Monday, January 8. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season!
It is important to encourage your child to seek out opportunities to show kindness. Suggest that your middle grader think of safe ways to assist people who are struggling or lonely. Maybe he’ll make cards or bookmarks for nursing home residents or have a virtual game night with younger cousins who miss seeing friends.
Do you want to raise the odds that your middle school student will actually follow your advice? Get his input. Instead of saying, “Setting your alarm ten minutes earlier will keep you from scrambling to get ready every morning,” try, “I’ve been running late in the mornings, too. What ideas do you think could help us?”
