Middle School

Our students are making headlines, and we want to share all the great news with you. We will keep this page updated with important announcements, news stories, and student shout-outs. Please check back often, and help us celebrate our students’ many achievements.

Bus Passes

Parents, just a reminder that in order for your child to ride a bus or change destinations, we need written permission from you in the office. A quick email to Mrs. Sanders will work, too! Please state your child, who they are riding with, and please be certain to sign and date the note. We will be happy to issue them a pass. If the need to ride the bus is frequent, please call the bus barn at (307) 764-6189 to be listed as an occasional/frequent rider. Thanks for your help!

Wyoming State Science Fair

Our students will have the opportunity to research, investigate, and present findings on a STEM topic of their choice. Students will also have the opportunity to participate locally and regionally, as well as on the state and national level! For more information on the Wyoming State Science Fair for grades 6 and 8, please contact Mrs. Necole Hanks, and for grade 7, contact Mr. Stan Hedges

FRAM Meal Application

Complete the FRAM meal application online. Log in to the Infinite Campus Portal. After logging in, select "more," then "meal benefits” and then complete either the English or Spanish meal benefit application. If you need a paper copy, please contact the office. Please complete one application per household.

Watch for Opportunities

It is important to encourage your child to seek out opportunities to show kindness. Suggest that your middle grader think of safe ways to assist people who are struggling or lonely. Maybe he’ll make cards or bookmarks for nursing home residents or have a virtual game night with younger cousins who miss seeing friends.

Great Advice

Do you want to raise the odds that your middle school student will actually follow your advice? Get his input. Instead of saying, “Setting your alarm ten minutes earlier will keep you from scrambling to get ready every morning,” try, “I’ve been running late in the mornings, too. What ideas do you think could help us?”
